Our Temporary Kitchen

Our temporary kitchen was relocated to what was formerly the kids' playroom. We bought an electric cooktop which works great. I have managed to still cook regular meals so that we don't always eat out or do take out.

Flooring-Oregon Lumber

We found an ad in the back of Dwell magazine for a flooring company called Oregon Lumber.  They sell end grain flooring which we had never seen before. Below is what we have chosen for the kitchen.

Our Cabinets: St. Charles

We have decided to go with powder coated steel cabinets designed by St. Charles Cabinets. They were originally started in the 1950s. In the picture below are the colors we have chosen: sea glass for the upper cabinets and iridescent blue for the lower cabinets.
